If you got married in Las Vegas and are returning to your home country, you will be asked for an Apostille or an Embassy Legalization for your Marriage Certificate so you can register it over there. LAS VEGAS MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES ACCEPTABLE FOR APOSTILLE
The day of the ceremony, they must likely will issue a Marriage Certificate signed by the Judge that married you (this document is not acceptable for an Apostille). Las Vegas Marriage Certificates must be certified copies obtained from the Clark County Recorder/County Clerk.
